The history of the company began in 1985, when José Gutiérrez founded PESCADOS GUTIERREZ. It was a leading European company in the production of semi-preserved, fresh and frozen seafood. In 2010 the company disappears after a devastating fire on its facilities.

In 2014 JGUTIERREZ FOOD TRADING was founded by José Gutiérrez and his son José. Endorsed with a solid experience, the company begins to commercialize frozen seafood, producing it in the countries of origin as well as in Spain.
